Junior Rallying
We teach at your speed, so once you have the clutch control we waste no more time but get you onto the track. The Instructor will be your navigator and mentor, helping you to get the most out of the car depending on your skill level. You will be encouraged to drive the course in a smooth and controlled manner to ensure that you get round the track safely and as quickly as possible.
In competition the exercise is based on the time taken between two control points. Smoothness of the vehicle control is paramount and jerky inputs to steering brakes and throttle should be avoided at all times.
A typical “Single Venue Stage Rally” will take place using cones and other permanent features as course markers, on either a Gravel, dirt or Tarmac surface or a mixture of all three.

We Teach:
Scandinavian Flick, one of the easiest means of getting the vehicle to enter a powerslide or drift, get it wrong and you spin out, get it right and the experience is fantastic.
Transition, a left or right hand drift followed by a smooth transition into the opposite hand drift. Accurate control and balance of the vehicle is essential in this manoeuvre and will not usually be progressed until the Scandinavian Flick is right.
Hand Brake turn; The final element in the skill base. Proficiency must be demonstrated before this manoeuvre is attempted.
At some point in your second session the instructor will time you between 2 points, we will award a prize to the fastest controlled driver on the day.

How we teach:
We employ the RST, see brochure, a mid engined rear wheel drive 120 bhp per tonne package, left hand drive vehicle which will test your skills in the extreme. Power is nothing without control. We get you to complete the circuit then we analyse your performance before we try it again, this way we stop you making the same mistake repeatedly. We repeat this procedure as many times as possible within your allotted time.

Where we teach;
To help you achieve results quickly we use an open loose surface, where there is very little to hit and therefore cause injury. Control the car in this environment and you can control a car anywhere, but things happen at a slower speed allowing you to react more easily to the instruction being given.

What we expect from you;
To take Instruction and follow the simple rules explained at the briefing to ensure a safe and incident free session. Do not hover the clutch pedal. It can be an expensive repair and un necessary and repeated use of this may result in your experience being stopped. We will not tolerate blatent vehicle abuse and if we feel this is being carried out your vehicle will be returned to the paddock and your experience will be terminated. We shall not offer any refund or rebooking in these circumstances.
